Track Attack = GPS Lap Timer + Video + Social.  Think youre fast?  Prove it!

Track Attack is a GPS based lap timer, data logger and video recorder, all in one for the motorsports enthusiasts!  All you need is your iPhone.  No external GPS adapter.  No additional video recorder.  No Track Maps to download.

Never hit the race track again without it!

Note: Use with Dual XGPS150A is supported (connected via Bluetooth). Internal GPS samples at 1Hz (1x per second) and the Dual samples at 5Hz. For simple lap times and sharing, internal GPS is just fine. For analytics, an external GPS Dual XGPS150A is really needed.

Update February 2016: Track Attack now works with the GoPro® Hero 4 camera. Simply connect the camera to your iPhone via WiFi (and using the GoPro app) and Track Attack will automatically use the GoPro camera as the video source.

GOPRO, HERO, the GOPRO logo, and the GoPro Be a Hero logo are trademarks or registered trademarks of GoPro, Inc.

With Track Attack, you simply show up to any race track of any motorsport type (road racing, rally cross, oval racing, drag racing, auto-x and hill climbs), start a new session and drive!  Track Attack will figure out if you are one of our over 400 known race tracks across the world, automatically set the track start/finish line OR automatically determine the start/finish line for you if you are on a brand new race track.  If you are on a new race track, you simply name the race track and it becomes available for everyone else on Track Attack to use.  No need to ever download a track map ever again.

All of this is done with just your phone.

You have the option to not just log your lap times and figure out how to get faster but you can also record the synchronized video for instant playback and analysis as soon as you get off the race track.

Track Attack works for both lap-based motorsports (Road Racing, Oval Racing (NASCAR style), Rally Cross) and point to point based motorsports (Drifting, Hill Climb, Rally Stages, Drag Racing, Autocross) or just do a free drive to record your expedition with the Fun Run mode.

The video playback will also display key data points such as the lap timer, vehicle speed, the driven track map, your location on the track, acceleration points, deceleration points and all synchronized.  Track Attack lets you record and playback your track sessions just like in the video games and track focused solutions which costs thousands of dollars.

You can create a Facebook post of your session or your individual lap, allowing you to instantly share with friends just how fast (or slow) you just went on the track.

Once you get home, log on to a reliable Wi-Fi hotspot and upload all your video to the Track Attack cloud service where your track sessions are automatically broken down to each individual lap, they come off of your phones storage and stream directly to your iPhone whenever you want to play a lap or a session back.

Latest reviews of Track Attack app for iPhone and iPad

Good App now wont open - crashes
I recorded today, all was well. Good app that does its job. However, I tried to make an account and exited the app in the middle of it and now the app will not open again. Ive force quit, restarted the phone, force restarted the phone, and still nothing. Takes me to the create a profile then a second later it crashes. Please fix!
Too many glitches
Difficult to use. Continuously crashed.
Garbage
Doesnt work, crashes. Dont buy it. Buy Harry lap timer. Works, doesnt crash
Speed was not correct
I would give this zero stars because it was not even close to being accurate. I tried it out for a time trial event at Polish Mountain. It was very difficult to set the correct start and end points but the big issue was that the recorded speed was way off making it useless. It said it had a good gps lock. I would like a refund.
Still crashes
App still crashes after I finish a session. Message says that gps signal could not be found and then crashes. Pretty frustrating when I do a 20min lapping only to find out that it got zero info on that session.
